Appeal Site: Land To The North And South Of The A533 The Hill, Sandbach

Following Bloor Homes’ decision to appeal against refusal of outline planning application 25/0211/OUT, the Planning Inspectorate has confirmed the public inquiry will take place from the 14th to the 17th of April 2026 at the Council Chamber Crewe, Municipal Buildings, Earle Street, Crewe, CW1 2BJ. The inquiry will continue from the 21st to the 23rd of April at the Middlewich Conference Centre, 34-36 Brooks Lane, Middlewich, CW10 0JG.

The final day of the Public Inquiry (Tuesday 28th April 2026) will be held virtually over Microsoft Teams where closings will be heard, and the Public Inquiry will then be closed. To join on the final day, please visit the following weblink:​

You will be placed in the lobby area and will need to wait until someone admits you. This is for closing by the main parties of the appeal (the Council, Appellant and Rule6 Party) and will not involve participation from any third parties.
